Ask us something specificHow long does NDIS registration take?
The timeline varies with your registration groups, audit type and document readiness. Most providers should allow several months from preparation to the registration decision. The NDIS Commission assesses each application individually, so the final timeline depends on its assessment process.
What is the difference between verification and certification?
Verification is a desk-based assessment for lower-risk registration groups. Certification is more comprehensive, typically involves a site visit and applies to higher-risk groups. If any selected group requires certification, the full application follows that audit pathway.
Do I need to be registered to provide NDIS services?
Not always. Unregistered providers can deliver services to self-managed and plan-managed participants. Registration is mandatory for certain supports, and from 1 July 2026 it also applies to Supported Independent Living and platform providers.
Can Pravida help with aged care registration under the new Act?
Yes. The Aged Care Act 2024 and Aged Care Rules 2025 introduced a six-category registration framework. Pravida supports application preparation, Quality Standards alignment and documentation development. The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission makes the final decision.
